7 things about myself:

1. I am a big animal lover. I think you could all tell that by my posts with the kitties and now doggy. I don't even eat animals either! So very big animal lover!
2. I love living in the country with Michael and the animals (Harrison, Nelson and Sadie) It is my favourite.

3. I love to thrift and paint, transform, recover anything and everything I can get my hands on!

4. I can't swim! (and am terrified of drowning)

5. This September will me my 6th year working with a local school board as an Educational Assistant. I can't believe it! And it will be my 4th year working in a devopmentally delayed classroom.

6. I want a tattoo but am too scared to get one

7. I could eat grilled veggies every single day in the summer! mmmm...

hahah Those 7 things are kind of random!  Owell.

I am slowly...very slowly....completing everything I want for the living room. I bought blinds the other day and put them up. I really wanted the thick dark wood blinds, but every time I go they are all out. (There has been a good sale at Zellers the last few weeks..60% off all blinds. They always have exactly 3 of the dark bamboo ones, so I picked them up. (They were half the price of the wood blinds)

So here is my living room before the blinds 

 (you can see the whole window and all I really wanted was to cover the top of the window up)

They are bamboo, so they don't really keep the light out..which is ok with us, thats what the curtains are for! Also we live in the country so it's not like we have people looking in! (I hope not anyway) Anyway, I like them and think it looks way better!

I thought I would also show you what I got yesterday! 3 things! That's it! When does that ever happen!?

2 little creamers (can't you see some flowers in them?)..and a ceramic egg carton I think I am going to keep my jewellry in! The carton was made in France, which is cool. I was very happy with what I got! And of course spending the day with my sister made it even better!

I've been busy! (A picture post)

I realized I haven't posted in a while! To be honest I have been rather busy! I haven't really had one whole day to just relax! I am not complaing though, I like being busy, hanging out with friends and family...and of course shopping! hahahah So here is what I have been up to:

Nelson got a little crazy

Having fun with the beautiful dog that showed up on our porch...she hasn't left! She is not tied up...and is just staying on the property. We have put up flyers and called the pound. We secretly hope no one calls! It just seems so meant to be!

My Second Post Today

I just received a comment on my other post from  Della  (I love her blog by the way!) She asked if my new kitty was a Russian Blue. She said her mom has one, and he is feisty! Well, I am not 100% sure if he is, since we got him at the shelter...but he sure does look like it! And sure is feisty! Look what I found when I went downstairs......................

 The lamp and alarm clock, again! This has already happened once. None of this happend with Harrison, so I know it is this new little guy. We got him because Harrison was so lonely..now this little guy is a bad influence on Harrison! Harrison already had a "time out" yesterday for beating up the little one...hahahaha Oh man. They look so cute...

 But looks can be deceiving.....................

I know my mom and dad are saying "I told you so" right about now! 

On a side note, I have the first coat on the frames for the shelves behind the couch!!
