Well I have been really busy and haven't been able to post for a while. Not to mention our internet was down all day today! geez I hate when that happens. Anyway, yesterday Mike came thrifting with me! WHAT?! hahah actually he suggested it. I had fun, I felt a little rushed but still had fun anyway! I didn't get too much stuff which is too bad, but I was happy with what I did get!!
I got a few magazines, a mirror, a metal tree, glass thingy, cute pumpkin, christmas cranberries a cake pan and this wreath!
I ended up taking all the little things off the wreath and just made it nice and simple
The reason I got the cake pan was for organizing my cupboard. I saw it on martha!
So here was my cupboard before
It was pretty cramed and I would always knock something over trying to get the stuff at the back
(now I did get rid of 2 boxes of tea by putting the rest in the tea canister and taking the 2 tea bags left and putting them in the new box
So much more organized!
I also had to clean my craft room today....yikes!
This is what it looked like! (don't mind the lovely wall paper, curtains and carpet. This is the only room in the house I havent painted! the whole house looked like this, if you can imagine. One day I will get around to painting it though!)
At least a little more tidy! I have made a decision to not go thrifting for a while at least until I hang, paint and fix all the things here! hahah That might be hard, but I am getting a collection of things and am not putting them up in the house! So that is my goal!
Oh, and I didn't show you any of the stuff Judy gave me! She was going to get rid of all this stuff, so I said I would take whatever she had!

It was kinda sad today, I took down all the fall/halloween stuff. The house looks so bare!

I'm sure I will be posting more this week, as soon as I complete my goal of getting all that stuff out of that room! hahaha

You made a haul! I like the wreath more simple like that and I've never heard of the Martha tip! Pretty clever. Fun pirate costume! :-) Have a good week.
