I am back!

Hello blogging friends! Sorry I have been a little M.I.A! Things have been a little crazy around here, and I just feel as though I am moving 100 miles a minute!
First off I got a library card. I don't know why it took me 2.5 years to get one, but I am so glad I did. I have been reading like crazy and feel I will be a hippie by the summer. Everyone is telling me to stop reading, because soon I will stop eating everything. hahaha

I also have been spending lots of time with my little fluff ball! He is so cuddly. I just love him

I also love to watch the kitties play and interact. There is still some hissing going on, but not as much!

Look how big he is! He is 3.5 months. and Hazel will be 3 years this year. She is soooo small!

I have also been sewing! I start my first sewing class this Thursday. I am excited but also nervous! (I am really shy!) I have been sewing little things and getting used to my machine so I am not completly clueless!

I made this apron! I think I am going to add a pocket. What colour do you think? The same as the pattern or black like the ties?

Today was famjam day at the Scotts. My aunt and uncles birthdays are this month and we all went over.

Me and  T
I also came home with all of this

Score! I love when they go through their things. hahahahha
Other then that, another work week is starting tomorrow. I will be posting sometime this week with all the stuff I have done this weekend, as well as Valentine's Day decor. I will also let you know how my first sewing class went! It will be a busy week, but these classes will be worth it!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Della's Giveaway!

Della is having a "dreaming of spring" giveaway!
If you haven't heard about Della, she is a very creative girl who has great style and gets most of her stuff from thrift stores! (I am jealous!) And did I mention she can sew!? Well she can! (jealous again!)

She is giving away adorable fabric (which would come in handy since I am learning to sew!) and some martha stewart 3d stickers (which is meant to be because I just got the Martha Stewart Excyclopedia of Crafts! hahahah)

Go check out the give away, and her blog too!

Sick sick sick! (And my first Valentine)

First things first, I am sick! sicksicksicksick! I have a nasty cold. My head hurts and feels heavy, I have been unbalanced, my nose is running. ew I hate being sick. I took the day off today because I felt so yucky. Guess who was cuddling with me the whole time?

Little puffball! I am feeling better now, so hopefully I will return to work tomorrow.
When I was supposed to be laying on the couch I decided to make something I saw for Valentine's Day

I found this at Room to Inspire and fell in love!

So I found this frame I got for .20 at Zellers

Took the people off and painted the board black

I cut out a red heart of cardstock and got my supplies ready

And glued them on.

All done! How do you like it? I have never decorated for Valentine's Day before, but there are so many cute projects in blogland, I think I just might have to start!!

Also Happy 21st Birthday Shan!! I hope you have a great day! I am glad we got to celebrate your birthday with you yesterday!!
And guess who are friends now?

so cute. I am glad all the hissing has stopped.
Now this has started

I guess I better get used to it!

I am going to link this up to

My birthday weekend!

Yesterday was my birthday! I am now 25 years old. I remember when I was younger, I couldn't believe my cousins were 25 years old! It seemed old to me. Now that I am 25, it feels a bit weird. Anyway, I had the best birthday ever! And was spoiled rotton!!

Michael was very good to me, as usual!! First off, this cute little puffball was my favourite present!!

He also took me to Niagra Falls. It was amazing. We did lots of stuff:  Went to the Keg for dinner, had birthday cake, went swimming, went to Dave and Busters, glow in the dark mini golf and of course, the falls!

We drove back home yesterday (my birthday) and I convinced him to stop at Value Village. He said he only would because it was my birthday! I only got a few things, but it was great!

He also got me beautiful flowers and a sewing box! (I love it!!)

After we got home, we went to Mike's fams house where I was spoiled rotton again

Look at this beautiful bracelet!!

Also, pj pants, yoga pants and citrus cream and body scrub! Love! Thank you so much!!
After present time we went Skating on the pond! I have a big fear of skating on water because I can't swim, but it was lots of fun! (and I plan on going again today!) We brought the dog too!

Then I went on the skidoo with Adam, which was another new thing to me! I got to drive it too!

So after the hot chocolate we left to go to my parents. They had my baby pictures on the fridge, like every year!

We had veggie stir fry, salad and bread! (my fave meal)
And cake! (my sister called to sing over the phone with us!) She is at school right now.

Then it was present time! I was spoiledddddd rotton!
Sisterface got me waaaaaaay too much!

This beautiful picture frame for the bedroom, The cake stand/veggie dip bowl/punch bowl! (so cool!), sport socks and measuring spoons (what I asked for!) and martha stewart craft encylopedia! Also this necklace I love

G (gramma) got me this lovely white star candle holder and some moula! lovelovelove it!

Uncle Dave also gave me some moula!! Thanks so much!
And mom and dad gave me this beautiful bracelet, an iron, ironing board and sewing caddy

And also some moula to put toward my sewing classes!
(p.s I am taking sewing classes starting in February! I got a sewing machine for Christmas and I am so excited to start!)

So as you can see, I was spoiled rotton!
It was an amazing birthday, the best one yet! Thank you so much everyone!!!

The New Addition

There is a new face in our house. He is cute, fluffy and white. His name is Harrison

We adpoted Harrison from the Shelter in town yesterday. We were thinking of getting another cat and fell in love with him once we saw him. He is 3 months old.

Hazel is not very happy with us. She hisses at him, and us. She also scratched me today. I wonder how long this will last? Probably not for long, seeing as Harrison is not really much smaller then Hazel and Hazel is 2 and a half. She is the size of about an 8 month old cat. She is weirdly small!

Ben is very excited around him, and also jealous he is getting all the attention. We still have to make sure he wont eat him!

All I know is that he is the cutest little fluff ball I have ever seen! (and he enjoys watching super mario bros for the wii!)

We are in love!
