My cute new bag

Today was the first day back at work since March break ended. I was exausted! I looked like death. I also now seem to be sick with a cold. I am doing everything I possibly can to feel better before tomorrow. I don't know though.....I don't feel the best. You know, nose running, head feels huge, cold, sneezing. That sort of thing.

So, before March break I had a ton of goals. They were:

1. finish easter eggs I started
2. Get Easter stuff out.
3. Clean closet and organize clothes
4. Organize mantels and shelves
5. detox
6. Breakfast with FMX girls
7. Sewing with Gram
8. See sister away at University

So overall not too bad, right? I didn't really do the crafting stuff I should have. Interesting.

I did sew with gramma!!
We set up everything in the dining room
And went to town

Gram is ironing in the interfacing!

Finished Project! There are pockets in each strap. And on the other side is one side pocket
It is even lined! I love it!

Thanks G!!! oxoxox
I also had a blast when I went to see sister. We didn't take many pictures at all, but we had fun. Basic girlie stuff. Thirfting, shopping, breakfast, movies, etc etc. Sister hardley bought anything! It was great to see you missy! And I will see you soon enough because of Easter! yay!!! loveyou

Just so many eggs..................

Have you ever started a project, then realized it will be a lot of work and pushed it off to the side? haha. I have. With these darn Easter eggs. I keep telling myself it would be way faster to just buy them all done. Although it is cheaper this way, they have been sitting there for 2 days...and the wreath is all done (that I am attaching some of the eggs to) hahaha Oh dear. It is my goal to finish them before March Break is over!! Do you think I can do it?
What else is new? Well. I got new glasses and I am completly in love. lovelovelovelove!
I also love the little BIG fluffball I am holding. He is with me all day long. I love it.
Tomorrow is sewing day with G!! I can't wait.
We are maing a purse    I am making a purse and grams is helping me when I need it. It has 3 invisible zippers, so we will see how that goes. You know, since I have never put a zipper in or anything...HAHAHAHAH. Oh dear. Should be fun. Hope you have patience Gramma!!! I love you!

And day after tomorrow is "Sister time in the Pdot!!" Can't wait!
This March break has been awesome so far!!

Craft Room Disaster! haha

I enjoyed a lovely breakfast out today, with my friends and old co-workers from FMX. We talked about Kathryn's new baby coming, Amanda's wedding coming up, and nothing really exciting about me coming up. hahahaha. It was just really nice to see them!!
Amanda And Kat
All of us. hahahah
I dropped Kat off and home, and was planning on doing a little crafting. I walked into the craft room and saw this.
A disaster! hahahahahhahah. Just ridiculous.  I can't seem to keep it clean.
How was I supposed to do any work on this table? Gah!

So, I had to clean up first. hahahaha. Which took a while, and I ended up with 3 grocery bags full of garbage.
Now I can breathe.
Much better
Does your craft room ever look as bad as mine?

Every Woman Should Have....

Every Woman Should Have....

Enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own, even if she never wants to or needs to.

Something perfect to wear if the employer, or date of her dreams, wants to see her in an hour.

A youth she's content to leave behind.

A past juicy enough that she's looking forward to retelling it in her old age.

A set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra.

One friend who always makes her laugh...

...and one who lets her cry.

A good piece of furniture, not previously owned by anyone else in her family.

Eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal that will make her guests feel honored.

A feeling of control over her destiny.

Every Woman Should Know....

How to fall in love without losing herself.

How to quit a job, break up with a lover, and confront a friend without ruining the friendship.

When to try harder...and when to walk away.

That she can't change the length of her calves, the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents.

That her childhood may not have been perfect...but it's over.

What she would and wouldn't do for love.

How to live alone...even if she doesn't like it.

Whom she can trust, whom she can't, and why she shouldn't take it personally.

Where to go when her soul needs soothing; be it to her best friend's kitchen table, or a charming Inn in the woods.

What she can and can't accomplish in a day...a month...a year.

Can you believe this is my 100th post? Ahh that is crazy. I never thought I would still be blogging..I honestly thought I would get bored with it fast! However, not the case!!

When we were at Mike's parents today, his sister showed us what she bought at winners and it reminded me of what I bought there! I never showed you guys. I found this lovely.....bird cage!
Isn't it lovely? I have no idea where I am going to put it, but I had to have it!! hahahahah

Today I was busy making the cutest burlap bunnies. I originally found these somewhere else, but they linked back to The Little Green Bean as their inspiration!
The ones from The Little Green Bean have way more detail and are cuter! hahah I will have to play around with them until I get them PERFECT. Then when I do, I will go back to mom's, gram's and Holly's to trade them up for better bunnies! hahahah.

I am hoping to start some of my Easter crafting tomorrow. Easter is coming up faster then I think!!!

March Break!

Here's to my 99th post!! And here's to the start of March Break! I have relaxed all day! I do have to work in a bit but only for a few hours. Next week will consist of painting, crafting, cleaning, and getting rid of stuff I no longer need! As well as putting out my Easter decorations, and getting the mantel and shelves looking good in the living room! Also a natural detox! On top of all that house stuff, I want to have lunch with a couple of my old fmx girls, have a sewing day with gramma and visit sister. Geez. Sounds as busy as usual! haha

I am most looking forward to seeing my sister/bestie Kayla
lovelovelovelovelove!!

I am really looking forward to next week!!!!!

Paint Paint Paint!!!

Well, I said I would be back and I am! It was a rough day today! Our 2.5 year old kitty, Hazel, got sick Thursday and we had to put her down today. So sad. At least she is not suffering anymore!! We will really miss her. So will Harrison! I hope he won't be too lonely!!

We will miss you Hazel!!

Before all this happened, I was busy painting around here! The weather has been so nice, so I could spray paint outside!! I don't know if you remember this star candle holder I bought sometime in the summer?

Well, I painted it and had it everywhere. I couldn't get it to look good! I thought it looked silly where ever I had it. So....I might have broke the candle part off....and stuck it on the wall. I love it.

The next stuff I painted was from my great deal at Winners. Remember all this stuff?
I took this guy

and gave it a nice fresh coat of paint and a sanding
love it! It now lives in my bedrooom

(don't mind my empty frames!)
Next up, this white frame

I added dried black beans. Yes, I said beans!

This picture was taken at night, and is just awful. But I love the way it looks. I swear! ha You'll see!!
Next we have these lovely glass dishes
I gave them a fresh coat of grey (glossy) which I didn't look at before I bought it. I am not much of a "glossy" girl. Owell. I think they still look great! They do not have a home as of yet, but I will find one!
Remember this glass candle holder?

You guessed it, PAINT
Love it!! It looks great. So that is it. I told you I was busy painting!! I have yet to paint the mirrors in the top picture. I needed to get a mini screw driver to remove the mirrors. I got one today, so I will be at it soon!

On another note, look what Mike's gramma gave us

Isn't it cool? She said it came from the old highschool, and was grandpas. So cool! Harrison thought it was cool too! (of course)
I think he is always around because he likes his picture taken! hahahahah
His new favourite thing is to attack my hair clip when he is on my shoulder

so playful!

Well, there you have it. See what you can do with a little paint?

Big Honkin Bracelets!

This week my cousin Tori came over to my place for dinner and craft time. I had seen these bracelets around blog land where you use fabric and cover beads, and tie knots as you go. I couldn't find at beads at the dollarstore so I thought about using small foam balls. hahahahah. They turned out to be really BIG bracelets.

We had some fun with lace my sister gave me. We had to pick what fabric we wanted which was the hardest part! Look at all the fabric I got from Sherry at work!! 2 whole under the bed bags full!!

We picked these!!
We cut out stripes to sew into a tube
Sewing time!

Then you pop a ball in, tie a knot and keep repeating that process! Harrison liked the foam balls!
Tori made a necklace or a headband!
I made a bracelet.

I even wore it to work the next day!!
Love you TS! I had a blast!
