This is the easiest project! (But oh so cute!)
All you need are some buttons and magnets!!
You just glue the button right onto the magnet...
....and voila! You have pretty magnets for the fridge

Make it Monday : Glitter Card!
I made this card for Mike's sister Lauren for her birthday! Can you guess what day she is born??
This is so easy...and I love how you can personalize them! Homemade cards are the best!

Make it Monday : Hair Combs
I found the tutorial at P.S. I made this..
Here is what you need:
embroidery floss, fabric,and hair combs (I tried ribbon as well, but it didn't work so well!)
I got 6 hair combs for a dollar at the dollar store
You just tie your fabric or floss onto the comb and wrap it around the entire thing.
once you get to the end, just tie a knot and cut off the excess.
I liked the look of the embroidery floss the best

And here is my beautiful sister as my hair model.

Make it Monday : Painted Placemats
Here is a quick, simple project with great results! Start by getting 4 cheap, fabric place mats. Mine were from the dollar store
Grab your masking tape and start taping stripes, using the width of the tape. I used the same piece of tape to measure the stripes..so I wouldn't end up throwing out a bunch of tape.
remove this one, and place it beside the last piece.
when you are done you want to rub your nail along the sides of the tape...so no paint will sneak under!
and then you paint!
let dry
and peel!
Voila!! New painted place mats!
At first I didn't like that place mat was a champagne colour and the plates were white and was considering painting the champagne white...but then I ended up liking them!
I love how they turned out!!!

Make it Monday : New Corkboard
Hey guys!
I found some cork tiles at the dollarstore!
(3 tiles to a pack) I bought 2. I already had an idea of what I wanted to do with them...cover them with cool material. I have a ton of old, vintage, floral material from a lady at school.
This is so easy! Lay down your cork on top of a piece of material and glue!
I used little finishing nails, and nailed it into the wall, alternating patterns.
What do you think? I also added a piece of the banner my cousin made me from the shower
So now I have a nice easy way to organize all my ideas and magazine clippings!
