Glitter, Glitter, Glitter!!!

Today I made some holiday glitter cones. I love glitter, especially around the holidays! I bought these cones at Michael's a while ago knowing I wanted to glitter them!
I started with cones just like this and went to town. I used white glue and a paint brush to apply the glue and sprinkled on the glitter with my salt and pepper shakers. I chose gold, brown and silver. I stuck a pen in the bottom of the cone so I didn't have to hold it with my hands
I still ended up getting messy
glitter everywhere!! But they look good...so I don't mind!
 Aren't they pretty?!
I will be posting more over the holidays for sure! I have one more week of work and I am off for 2 weeks. I am working on stockings for the animals and should be done this week so keep watching for that! They are cute too!! And maybe will post some pictures of the SNOW here!!
Have a great week everyone!!

  6. LOVE your glitter trees! I made some a few weeks ago, but I love your technique of sticking a pen in the bottom first. Your colors are great too! I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one to wind up with glitter all over my hands! :)

  7. That looks easy enough that I might be able to fit it in this year still.
