Christmas!

I have officially decided to put the Christmas stuff up next weekend! It will be the 21st, which is a little earlier then I usually put it up (Dec 1) But I can't wait any longer. And I was thinking I love to have the tree up so much it would be nice to have it up for a whole month. We usually take it down shortly after Christmas and before the new year because it is bad luck to have two trees in one year! I checked out all the pictures from last year and made the decision! Here's what helped me decide:
Pretty right!? And I don't think it is too early at all!

Kitchen Chairs

Today mom and dad helped me complete something that has been on my list of things to do for a while. We recovered the kitchen chairs. Each seat was a different colour, with a different pattern on them.
We picked some fabric and went to town.
This pretty girl watched a lot of the time
And of course I loved the end result
Turned out pretty good, right?! I'm in love!
Thanks mom and dad for all your help! (and for lunch!) I love you! xo

Christmas Inspiration List

Hello friends! First I had wedding on the brain...now I have wedding AND Christmas! Yikes! I don't know why but I am so excited to decorate for Christmas this year! I have always loved Christmas but this year I seem more excited! I have already saved a few projects that I will hopefully complete this holiday season! Here they are!

I'm feeling a lovely pinecone garland, like the one found here. I already have all the pinecones too! Thanks Holly!

The classic pottery barn sweater pillow. I already bought the sweater last year but never got around to sewing it. This year I will for sure!
And while I'm at it, some cozy sweater candleholders would be cute too. Found here
For the mantle, I am thinking NATURE as my theme. Maybe some birch, candles, pine garland and WHITE! (I think I am going to attempt to sew new white stockings!) Something like this....
I have also changed the colour of my tree from burgandy and gold.... to brown, gold and white. It is going to look so good!!! The tree will probably be up a little before December 1st this year...I don't think I can wait that long!!!
