I have started a few little things around the house for Christmas. It is coming up so soon! And I want to have the house all decorated for our open house (which is coming up waaaay too fast as well!) I was very busy today and thought I would share a couple projects....
I decorated the urns at the front of our house. The dead mums were not very inviting! hah I also put up the huge wreath I made, and attached it really well
I think they turned out pretty good!
I still wouldn't mind going for a walk out back and picking up more treasures to add
I also made something else. I got those little urn candles from Aunt Li, but had something else in mind
Add a base from Michael's, a little paint and...
taa daa. Cute, and all ready for Christmas!!
The new craft room is painted and I hope to post the reveal sometime this week! There are a few things that need to be finished first!
Hope you all had a great weekend!
I am going to link this up at

Looks great! And you just reminded me that there is a very dead mum on my front porch ;)
ReplyDeleteReally like those urns....dead mums do nothing for me :o) So glad you linked up...I'm gathering lotsa ideas for holiday decor from all you earlybirds!
ReplyDeleteThose urns are really beautiful. I wish I had more room by my front door so I could do something like that.

I love that! Great idea! I was thinking of taking greens from my yard too and putting in my front planter {I only have the one}, but I like that you added a few Christmasy decorations. I think I have a couple of dollar store ornaments that I can add ~ thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks wonderful. I like the urns a lot!
