My first pant alteration and a little sneak peek!

Today I altered my pants! Jeans actually. I have lost 15lbs since January 1st! I have been a little bit of a rut as of late and haven't lost any in a while...but I think that will change this week! I am off for March Break and will be focusing on working out and getting back on track! (Got that sister?!) So anyway, I have lost 15lbs and can't even wear this one pair of jeans anymore...I can pull them right off without undoing them! They are pretty worn in spots, so I will need to get a new pair eventually, but thought I would take them in for now. I cut them too....so if I gain any weight back, they won't fit! But I don't think that will happen anytime soon! As I took them in, I also took them in at the knee and made them more bell bottoms. I have really wanted a pair since I saw that Old Navy commercial! (Even though I knew I wouldn't look as good in them as the girl in the commercial hahahh) I got the tutorial at the new blog I follow Cotton and Curls! This girl is amazing and alters and makes amazing clothes!! This is her tutorial and was very helpful! I totally forgot to take a before picture. I wish I did! But here are the jeans now.
cute right? And as I was taking pictures I didn't even realize you could see into the hall! So there is my sneak peek of the reading nook in the hall...the start of it anyway!
You will have to wait for that! It should be done by the end of the week!
Anyway, I am in love with my new pair of jeans! Now I am on the hunt to see what else I can transform!

  2. Those are so cute and sexy on you! Love them. Great job!!!! Don't you love to refashion. It is basically free! Thanks for checking out my blog, I'm planning on posting others refashions on my blog somewhere, I just have to figure it out. Hope it's okay if you're on it?

  3. ooo Congrats on your 15lbs! Don;t let that rut get the best of you! They say if you switch it up (gym to yoga or dance or pilates)you'll continue with the weight loss.

I'm Glad you are back. I've missed you! Is that 'blog stalker-ish?' who knows. But thanks for the pant alteration link. I have lots of pairs that are just a little too big.
