Hey! Well I told you last night I had been working on my summer to-do list. Here's a reminder of what I wanted to do here
The first thing I wanted to was to make this from pottery barn
I ran out of time to put the wire handles on, but they still looked good
Next I wanted to make this bag
Here's my take on it
I fell in love with this bracelet
And made my own
( I don't like the size of the pearls. I will be making it again because it was so easy to do, and is so pretty)
And remember these
Well, I'm just going to have to buy those, because this is how mine turned out
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH Oh dear. It was the most frustrating thing to do. The feathers were getting stuck everywhere! I finally stopped trying. And this is what I ended up with. A furball. ew.
So I guess I have made (and attempted to make) almost everything on my list. I still need to make
The bleach shirt and
this foot jewellry.
I made something else today too. I bought simple barrett clips. and glued on 2 flowers.
So cute! You know how I love my flowers.
I have so much stuff to do in the next few weeks. I have definitely decided to paint my kitchen cupboards. It will be a lot of work, but it will be worth it! Also, I am going to recover my new kitchen chairs! Mini kitchen makeover in the works, can't wait! I will keep you posted!
First, I love your new layout! Super cute, and also really easy to read.
ReplyDeleteIdea for the feather balls: could you try brushing modpodge over the ball, then setting a feather on it and brushing more modpodge over it - going one by one in a row around the ball? That way the feathers will be completely smoothed down over the ball, like in the photo. Just an idea. :)
Aww, your fur ball is cute!! LOL If you have a cat, maybe he'd like it? hehe Loved the bracelet, how'd you do it?
ReplyDeleteYou are too talented and too funny! Cute post! Congrats on HAVING a To Do List and getting it DONE!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the fur ball! Oh I have so many failures, but we have so many success too! I wanted to hang ball jars on the front porch with seashells. you said pottery Barn, is that where you got the ball jars that come with hangers, or is that where you buy the hangers?
